Performance Management isn’t all about people but do HR practices make it so?

Simplistic models of performance lead to blame or praise but not to performance management. Using values and behaviours, Steve will describe why and how it doesn’t have to be this way.

An expert panel including Sarah Messenger, Head of Workforce, LGA, Sue Evans, PPMA President and Angela Probert, Strategic Director for Change and Integrated Corporate Services, Birmingham City Council will lead the questions and open up the debate .

CIPD will also be sharing their very latest research and it will be so hot off the press we can’t say what it is yet!
2:15pm Open Space Workshops
Delegates can join the debate in one of several thematic workshops based around key thinking and
research emerging from Aspire projects. Facilitated by research authors with input from Councils tackling the issue at hand, delegates will have a chance to help shape how as a sector we take this research forward with outcomes shared in a post conference Research Round Up.
